The Filling Station Microbrewery and Porterhouse Productions announces a new family-friendly Summer Music Festival to be held at the old railroad depot in Traverse City. The Ales by the Rails Summer Music Festival is family oriented, with activities planned including a kid’s fun zone, scrap art, train memorabilia, Shetler Dairy ice cream, Northwoods root beer floats and much more.
Fri. 4pm: Official launch party of the new TC Ale Trail™, an incentivized challenge to sample adult beverages at local breweries.
Fri. 6pm: Blake Elliot on stage followed by local favorites Seth Bernard & May Erlewine.
Sat. 6pm-1am: DJ Dominate spins music at the Silent Disco (1,000 sets of headphones available). Families 6-11pm; Adults 18 & older 11pm-1am.
Sun. 6pm: Mike Moran, followed by Luke Winslow-King, accompanied by a full horn section from his home base, New Orleans.
All weekend, adults may enjoy the bountiful selection of 14 Filling Station craft brews, a flavorful selection of Northwoods Sodas, along with delicious pizza pies baked to perfection in a wood-fired brick oven.
$30 Full Weekend Pass; $22/$25 Fri. Concert; $5 Sat.; $10/$12 Sun. concert.
