International Humanitarian Law (IHL) which includes the Geneva Conventions is at the core of the Global Red Cross Network. It is critical to preserving a minimum of humanity in the worst of circumstances. For more than 20 years, the American Red Cross has promoted International Humanitarian Law through free chapter-based courses.
IHL is a free course that is open to the public. Those interested in attending the class can register until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5 by contacting Megan North at 616-546-8661 x5203 or at Megan.North@redcross.org. Participants will need to provide individual snacks, lunch and refreshments.
