Tyler Franz is a young photographer with a wonderful eye; he has the innate ability to capture soulful moments. Warm colors wash through his images enhancing a deep sense of connection that exists within his new body of work. When describing his own work, he says, “Though we no longer exist in drastic survival scenarios, the connection between animals and people remains and could potentially become deeper than ever.” He strives to capture moments that depict a truth within us. He says, “The most important experiences we can share with one another are those filled with love, compassion, truth and understanding. These are the moments that teach us the most about ourselves, our place in this universe and most importantly, grace us with a sense of connection. It is these positive connections that keep the passion flowing through our blood streams.”
Franz is a self-taught photographer. He has been taking photos for years, this is the first time he has put together a collection of work to display publicly. When talking about this collection of images he says, “This particular body of work displays lovely humans and creatures that I have had the pleasure of crossing paths and whom I love very deeply. Take a long, heartfelt look around at your surroundings, and If not today, one day very soon you will realize how amazingly beautiful these day to day experiences really are. Love is the answer to all of your questions.”
