May 1-May 31: Local art is exhibited all month in downtown stores and businesses. Each downtown exhibit space features a different local artist’s work. Genres represented include: watercolor • acrylic & oil paintings • mixed media • glass etching • wood carvings • music • literature • fabrics and more • snacks and refreshments.
May 9: 3rd Annual Art and Wine Showcase at the Historical Museum in Downtown Cadillac. Meet with Showcase Artists, buy their art, enjoy the historic Carnegie Library, sip wine and mingle with fellow art and history enthusiasts. $30 person, tickets available at Brinks Art & Framing & Historic Society Members.
May 25 10am-4pm: Meet and greet each exhibiting artist. Artists on-site and in the stores to discuss and sell their art. There are additional art booths on Harris Street.
Cadillac is the city on the lakes: Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac, where U.S. 131 and M-55 intersect.
