Aged to Perfection is a program of the Old Town Playhouse that brings Readers Theatre to the area. They perform an evening of Short works at the Studio Theatre @ The Depot.
Jill Bert adapted The Blue Rose, a love story based on an ancient Chinese fairy tale, into a reading. An emperor, a princess, a minstrel and a narrator weave the story together.
Hettie Molvang directs Sue ‘em, one of the first radio plays written for the American airwaves and also features a cast of four.
Margaret Anne Slawson performs a solo reading of another comedic piece, God Bless the Parents Who Drug Us and rounds out the hour-long evening.
The performances on April 8 and 9 begin at 7:30pm; doors open at 7pm. There are no reserved seats. Everyone is invited and all ages should enjoy these Readings. Refreshments are served. There is no charge for the performances; however, donations are gratefully accepted.
