Three Pickleball Workshops are scheduled at The North Central Michigan College gym and fitness center on Saturday, January 18, in the Student and Community Resource Center gymnasium on the Petoskey campus.
The workshops are for beginners and advanced beginners and run at 11am, Noon and 1pm. Each session is limited to 16 people. There are four players per court.
Northern Michigan’s National Champion, Carolyn Ebbinghaus, leads the instructional sessions. She will have an assortment of paddles, balls and other equipment available.
Carolyn recently won the 2012 National Women’s Singles 50+ division Pickleball Championship. She has also won a silver medal in women’s doubles at the national tournament in Arizona.
The cost for each workshop is $5 for current North Central students and $10 for non-students. All equipment is furnished. Participants should wear suitable gym clothing and clean, dry shoes.

Enjoy a free family day following the workshops, from 2-5pm with games, activities and tours of the fitness center. Food is available in the concession area.
Petoskey, on Little Traverse Bay, is about 60 miles north of Traverse City on US-31.
