The annual Elberta Solstice Festival is Benzie County’s premier free music festival–family friendly, quirky, cutting edge and eco-friendly, with some of the best bands, craft beverages and artisanal food around, capped off with one of the best fireworks displays in the region.
Live music continuing until 2am includes: The Accidentals; Alfredo; Medicinal Groove, E Minor, The Standing Hamptons, Blake Elliott & The Robinson Affair; K. Jones & The Benzie Playboys; Blue Dirt; Soul Patch; and G Snacks.
Attractions include the Bounce House, the Gross Food Eating Contest, Kids Games 2-5pm, Wood-E The Clown, Magician Keith Stickley and Animal Encounters with the infamous Ghetto Gators.
Free shuttle service between Solstice Fest and Frankfort’s Art Fair and Antique Car Show.
Elberta, on the shores of Lake Michigan, is on M-22 about 45 minutes southwest of Traverse City.
