This year’s “Hearts Without Hunger,” is a cocktail event celebrating the Manna Food Project mission, their operation and supporters.
Guests enjoy fresh appetizer fare donated by cava, cash bar, live music by Dr. Good Hart’s Home Remedy (graciously donated by Blissfest Music Festival), door prize drawing and a fantastic silent auction.
This year’s auction focuses on experiences such as an auto experience including car detailing and oil change services, a health and fitness experience including health club memberships, and a Chicago weekend experience including round trip airfare, lodging at a downtown hotel, and gift certificates to some of the city’s top restaurants.
The purpose of the event is to bring continued awareness to the Manna operation and the 35+ pantries they service throughout Emmet, Antrim, and Charlevoix Counties. For over 25 years, the Manna Food Project has provided much needed food assistance throughout Northern Michigan. The organization currently oversees the procurement and monthly distribution of over 140,000 pounds of food, helping to feed close to 3400 families in Antrim, Emmet and Charlevoix counties each month.
