Exhibit at Oliver Art Center in Frankfort: Celebrating Women

During the month of March the Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts hosts an exhibition of selected works by area artists. The "Celebrating Women" themed exhibition is held to honor National Women’s History month.

Fri. Mar. 8 Artist reception, 5-7pm. In support of International Women’s Day, the Benzie Area Women’s History Project presents the award-winning documentary, The Play, at the Garden Theater in Frankfort at 7:30pm, following the artist reception.

March 15, 7pm "Dress," a preview and discussion featuring the prominent women writers of this region and also women writers of historical significance. Performed by Gretchen Eichberger and guests, at the Art Center. Entry is free and open to the public.

Gallery Hours: Mon.-Fri. 10am–4pm; Sat. Noon–4pm; Sun. Closed.

Frankfort is about 50 minutes southwest of Traverse City, U.S.-31 to M-115 West.
