Event Description
DUNUYA DRUM & DANCE is a global drumming collective presenting music of West Africa and the Diaspora including Cuba, the Caribbean, North Africa and Brazil. Their Goal is to create an environmnet of healing & celebration for people from vast socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic and age demagraphics. This is a rare opportunity for families & community to come together. They will include audience participation with singing, dancing and playing instruments. The event is open to the public and admission is free. It is sponsored by Blissfest Music Organization, Petoskey Middle School and Petoskey District Library.
