Event Description
The Interlochen Arts Academy orchestra welcomes alumna Carol Jantsch to perform John Williams' Tuba Concerto. Jantsch has been principal tuba of the Philadelphia Orchestra since 2006 – a position she won while still a senior at the University of Michigan (becoming the first female tuba player in a major symphony orchestra).
Tickets $9-$16.
Interlochen is located about 12 miles southwest of Traverse City where US-31 meets M-137.
