Together Laura Cortese and Forest Fires play original songs in quirky and energetic arrangements with their 4 piece band.
Cortese's new release Blow the Candle Out offers seven live cuts from concerts where she boldly delivers original and traditional songs with the unusual combination of fiddle, drums and voice.
Tickets: $15 advance, $18 at the door. Available at Tali Bistro & Bar, Fusion Restaurant, Frankfort Bookstore or Phoenix Cafe in Beulah.
Frankfort is about 50 minutes southwest of Traverse City, U.S.-31 to M-115 West.
