Event Description
The theme this year celebrates the building of the breakwall: "The Dream is Solid as a Rock!" Celebration includes a pie sale, parade, games, food, music and a great fireworks display at sunset. The parade starts at 1pm, with games to follow, a street dance at 7pm and fireworks at dusk.
Grand Marais, on the shores of Lake Superior, is at the end of M-77 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, about 2 hours northwest of the Mackinac Bridge.
