Enjoy the sounds of The Great Lakes Woodwind Quintet and the Great Lakes Trumpet/Trombone Duo during this free afternoon concert.
Grace Olson on flute; Jayne Winchester, clarinet; John McCutcheon, oboe; Thom Zantow, bassoon; and Beverly Isenbarger, horn, perform Old Hungarian Dances by Ferenc Farkas, Passacaille by Adrien Barthe and the Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin.
The Trumpet/Trombone Duo -- Vern Campbell, trumpet, and Edward Bahr, trombone -- along with piano accompaniment by Rita McIntyre and Ellen Kendall, perform works composed by Eric Ewazen, Walter Watson and David Borden, as well as the exciting Fandango for Trumpet and Trombone by Joseph Turrin.
Boyne City is on the southern end of Lake Charlevoix on M-75, just off US-131.
