Event Description
Cawthorne's Village Inn & the Mustang Lounge co-host the 19th Annual Mackinac Island Chili Cook-off.
Chili tasting takes place from noon-4pm at both restaurants. Vote for your favorites to win the coveted title of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place while sampling the delicious chili entries prepared by local chefs, Islanders and visiting gourmets.
In fact, the entire President's Day winter weekend is filled with fun; hayrides, cross-country skiing and even a street hockey tournament.
Mackinac Island is in the Straits of Mackinac east of the Mackinac Bridge, about two hours north of Traverse City. Accessible by ferry, airplane or via the ice bridge in winter.
