Calling all kayakers to the Kayak for a Cause Launch Party on Thursday, May 23, at the Mackinaw Trail Winery (South of Petoskey on US-131).
Enjoy a wine-tasting from the great wines of Mackinaw Trails, and food provided by Whitecaps Grill, Twisted Olive and Julienne Tomatoes. Entertainment is provided by Drew Baar and friends.
Meet other kayakers, sponsors of the Kayak for a Cause on Walloon Lake, and team members who will be paddling during the event scheduled for July 20-21. Learn more about the one-day new Easy Does It Tour ($150) and the one- or 2-day traditional Full Speed Ahead Tour ($300). All proceeds from the event benefit Camp Daggett’s Adventure Center.
Team registration is available during the Launch Party. All kayakers who register on or before May 23 are eligible to win a $300 spa gift certificate from Boyne and two free 1-month passes to City Gym of Petoskey. The winner of the Native Inuit 12.5 kayak raffle will also be announced.
