Here's an alternative to the traditional limo! the Petoskey Trolley can carry your whole wedding party.

things to remember when planning a beach wedding--I recently read a very unsatisfying article on planning your perfect beach wedding ... inspired by this aisle of sunflowers from Emily Betz Tyra's article in MyNorth Wedding http://www.mynorth.com/My-North/December-2007/Your-Up-North-Wedding/, I tried to think of other tips and ideas for having a beach wedding ...
at my brother's beach wedding, my Dad smartly stocked up on a dozen or more umbrellas, I remember them drying on the deck after the rainy event, a sea of red & white mushrooms (perhaps you want to plan a different color?)...
you could arrive by boat?
... chair legs, tent poles and high heels will sink a bit in the sand ...
...use the natural slope of a beach to give even the littlest guest a prime view of the action ...
... could the unity candle ceremony be adapted to pouring two pitchers of water into the lake? ...
... especially important to keep a good grip on those rings, tie them to a piece of driftwood or have a metal detector as back up ...
... a pedicure seems an essential beach wedding preparation ...
...might want to arm the groomsmen with walkie talkies if the trek from parking to ceremony is beyond a dash ...
