Winter is coming - what do I do with my kids?
Now that it is getting colder outside, I am looking for some ideas to keep my kids busy through the winter? Indoor or outdoor ideas would be greatly appreciated!

We like to do a lot of seasonal festival stuff in our house. In the fall, on cold days we make acorn people, we write fall poems with window markers, we put on woodland animal plays by making puppets or using the great body crayons we bought at McLean and Eakin in Petoskey. We also do a lot of fall cooking together-- applesauce, squash stuff, etc. I think for my next blog post I'll write about this stuff in greater detail. Look for it this weekend...
