The Young Professionals program was created by the Chamber to empower and activate young professionals ages 21-40 in the Grand Traverse region by providing a dynamic environment for networking and social and professional development.

UP COMING YP EVENTS!

Young Professionals meets the first, second and third Tuesday of every month, in addition to other regularly scheduled events.

Tuesday, October 21 - "YP Book Club"
Time: 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Location: Right Brain Brewery
Cost: Free

Each month, the Young Professionals Book Club rotates between a fiction and nonfiction selection as chosen by the group. October's selection is "Watchmen" by Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons, one of Time Magazine's All-Time Top 100 Novels and one of the most influential comic books/graphic novels ever written. "Watchmen" is currently being adapted into a $100-million film set for release in March 2009. Young Professionals get 10% off (20% off for those with Downtown Discount Cards) of each month's book selection at Horizon Books.
