    @lisadoublestein Lisa, great volume 2! During a recent visit to Petoskey, we drove past your house. It is an awesome work-in-progress. I love the photos and details you provide. Quite a “find” and in a beautiful location.

    @deb Hi Deb
    I just received my February Traverse Magazine issue. Thank you for the wonderful Editor’s Note that focused on celebrating winter and specifically, Petoskey! As always, your words flow so beautifully and take readers on the trip with you. Thank you

    @deb Hi Deb
    Thank you for the wonderful reflections in your February Editor’s Note of Traverse Magazine. I like your line “Who wouldn’t want to produce words and photographs for this place?”

    @deb Happy Holidays to you and your family.

  • Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone. I also agree with Bethany and Durk. There’s something very special about every song in this collection. Festive, but in a calm, relaxing style. In particular – I like “Oh Christmas Tree”. Makes me want to hear it right now.

    @smithtraversemagazine-com “Not speaking of true violence, of course, but carnival violence, glorious, laugh-along-the-way,bumper-car road wildness…” I read the first 3 paragraphs of “Ode to a Joy Ride” and thought, “Hey…wait a minute….who wrote this story? This writing style seems familiar”. Great comparison of snowplowing to a carny ride.…[Read more]

    @deb Hi Deb
    Wonderful Editor’s Note in the January issue. This was the quintessential lemons to lemonade (or snowstorm to snow angel) reflection. Very heartwarming. I’m enjoying the many aspects to “It’s Great to be Northerner”. This weekend, my community is relating to the snow shoveling activity (with over a foot in one day and more keeps coming).

    @troydesh Troy, I like how you’ve continued the forums from the January issue. Fun, thought provoking things to consider. Thanks.
