Your shots of pancake mushrooms are spectacular! The detail is really stunning. This birch is down in kind of a gully in Houdek Dunes so it was hard to tell its height. It is unusual to see an old birch that is this full, isn't it?

Neal, trees and everything that grows and lives in trees are my favorite things. How tall was this one? Unusual for it to still have so many branches.
