Chuck Hawkins, owner of Hawkins' Outfitters out of Traverse City, his dog Abe and I took a non-working day to fish the Manistee River. I jumped on to the oars and told Chuck, "Today I'll work and you fish for once." Chuck took two casts and landed this nice brown trout over 18". Abe doesn't look too impressed probably because he has seen Chuck land quite a few bigger ones over the years.
