The finger is poised and ready switch the light on in the re-dedication of the South Manitou light. On the other end of the walkie-talkie SLBE Park Superintendant Dusty Schultz announces "Honorary Lightkeeper Jack Sheridan, please light the light." Jack made his own brief dedication to the 10 people crowded in the cylindrical room below the light. Jack is the great-grandson of the first keeper to the tower light, Aaron Sheridan. It was a special moment for all of us.
