Perhaps one of the biggest perks about working on Front Street in Traverse City, and i'm sure my colleagues would attest, is being within walking distance of so many great lunch spots. Pangea's across the street makes a mean pizza, espresso bay on the corner is perfect for an afternoon pick me up ( or a early morning wake me up for that matter!) and Grand Traverse Pie Co. down the street is my one stop shop for a caesar salad.

Walking through the lobby of my dorm last night I hear a group of people (around 5 or 6) sitting on the couches. There conversation goes something like this...

Summer time Up North is all about warm weather, days at the beach and family cook outs. But-as most of us know-we're not always good about making time for those seasonal pleasures. Sometimes the warm-days are spent inside in the office, days at the beach can be interrupted with unexpected trips to the grocery store and getting the entire family together for a meal is like solving a puzzle.
