Cherry Foot Stomp 2013 is Here!
Join us for a fun part of our production day tomorrow, Friday, Aug 2nd at 2pm at Chateau Chantal Winery on Old Mission Peninsula. We are receiving cherries, fresh from the harvest on Old Mission, that we will be stomping by foot.
We are allowing staff and any public that would like to try their “foot” at fruit stomping to come by at 2pm, bringing a fresh pair of shorts for post-stomping ware. Stomping will probably last a few hours a…Continue

December 21, 2011 Traverse City, MI: Old Mission Peninsula winery and inn, Chateau Chantal, releases their first production of an oak aged brandy. The brandy has been given the French name “Cinq à Sept” (sank-ah-set) literally, "five to seven,” a French Canadian term for Happy Hour. In France, this phrase was originally used as a description of the time of day a Frenchman would visit his mistress, perhaps with a gift of Brandy in tow?
