My new BLOG at My Wheels are Turningis not just about bike lanes or street safety. It's not just about crosswalks and sidewalks.
It is about the larger issue of what kind of place we…Continue

Scandinavian boots with a stacked leather heel. Creamy white, not the stark blue white of vinyl skates. They were amazing and expensive. My shoe size hadn't changed in years so it… Continue

Dean Bull
Traverse City, Michigan

In other words, five hundred of your hairs lying side-by-side would measure one inch. If you took one of those hairs and cut it, you could scatter a… Continue

The resorts have really stepped up to the challenge and are offering up more events and deals to attract visitors. This weekend kicks off a large number of events, some of which will continue throughout the season.

As 2010 is upon us at the Korner Kottage Bed and Breakfast in Suttons Bay, it is a time of reflection of the many guests who have passed through our doors. It certainly is a magical experience having those chance encounters of "arriving as strangers but leaviing as friends" phenomenon, even after the briefest of stays. It takes a certain amount of trust on both parts, guest and inn keeper to make this a successful experience. But when you are lucky (or skilled… Continue
