Just before deer season 2013, a gentleman by the name of Tim Ervin called me to see if I'd like to do another Manistee Day. It's almost noon on Sunday, two days before the start of the 7th Traverse City Film Festival. The New Foreign Jury has just watched the French film Queen to Play. It's an ongoing dream of my husband and mine. We want to live in Northern Michigan. Every weekend when we drive back downstate from our log home, I feel like I'm leaving my "real home." We built our modest vacation log home last year and are already looking forward to the next one. I love how it's the perfect compliment to nature - perfect for living up north.
