Black Star Farm's "Hearth & Vine" Cafe

Okay, I have a new favorite foodie spot in Leelanau- don't miss a stop at BSF's Hearth & Vine Cafe- I was on the run yesterday and stopped there to find something to eat and had one of the best sandwiches ever! The "Veg-Head" on grilled ciabata (sp?) with peppers, eggplant and other wonderfulness- I could have enjoyed a glass of wine but I was on the go! Sit outside on their beautiful patio or dine in on linen tables- open til 9 most nights....lovely!

Along the way my friend turned to me more than once and suggested it might be a good idea to turn around. But we persisted for the 60 plus miles (almost 2 hours)and got into town with time to eat before positioning… Continue
