on the deck

I sat on the deck for the first time today. Snow is still piled in the corners at least 8 inches and sometimes 15 or 16 inches. there's a clear circle in the center where the sun concentrates it's energy. I just sat. Listening to the wind, the birds, smelling whatever. My roomie joined me for a bit. And we dreamed about warm evenings to come.
