
As a young man I believed that the woman I loved would be a tender, delicate rose. When I grew up I realized that life with me required the wifely equivalent of a dandelion. And here she is; beautiful, strong, smart, brave, and able to muster a bright smile after hiking over 3 miles of untracked woods and marsh under 30 pounds of tracking gear in freezing rain.
