Inspired by #20 in this Traverse Magazine articlehttp://www.mynorth.com/My-North/June-2009/Northern-Michigan-Summer-Fun-Guide/ , my family set off after work to paddle the Cedar River. At the end of our trip, Grandpa let my daughter sit in the front of the canoe and paddle while he toyed with going under Cedar's famous red footbridge.
