Frankfort South Range Light
The blow of September 2009, a time lapse sampler . . .
I shot this from my car, through the windshield because of this danger to my camera:

The 'bouncing' around of the image is the car getting pummeled by 60mph winds!
I couldn't find any specs on this light to give a reference to the size of the breakers.
Imagine though, fishermen standing by it and their heads are lower than the top of
the black part!
The wind had shifted to the north by the time I got there, so the breakers are 'smaller' than what they were.

Comment by Joan Sorenson on October 2, 2009 at 6:11pm - I really enjoyed this video. I love to go to the Petoskey breakwall during a storm to take photos of the waves. The wind was not at the right angle for us to get big waves this storm. We need winds more from the west for really big waves in Petoskey,
