  • @deb Thanks! I got lucky on that pic! It was taken at Camp Hayo-Went-Ha. Its a YMCA camp on East Torch Lake Drive. Closer to the north end of Torch Lake.

  • @deb Hi Deb,
    Marty and Hammie are 3 years old brothers. We got them in Virginia when we were living in Washington DC. They are full of it and love to herd sheep. Just can’t seem to find any sheep farms around here though. Thanks for the welcome! Kathy

    @deb Hi Deb, I’m leaving this comment on your page, as well as the main page, after seeing Rachel North’s post and photos. I’m proud to be a dedicated follower of your site and magazine. Informative, poignant, creative, and always new and exciting. Congratulations to you, Deb, for your inspiration and to your dynamic team for working so well with…[Read more]

    @deb Deb: Thanks for your comments. Obviously, I’m having a wonderful time!
    What a great assignment. Thanks for the incredible opportunity. Will I see you at the closing night party? M.E.

  • @deb Thanks for your comment about Lakeside Shakespeare Deb! We hope to see you at our performances this summer!

  • @deb I will get that photo decreased in size. All our video is shot in 1080p High Def, so taking stills from the video makes them super high quality and huge in size. Thank you!

    @deb Hi Deb
    I just received my February Traverse Magazine issue. Thank you for the wonderful Editor’s Note that focused on celebrating winter and specifically, Petoskey! As always, your words flow so beautifully and take readers on the trip with you. Thank you

  • @deb Thank you so much for the welcome and add back. Your column and the wonderful photography are the two things I enjoy most about “Traverse” magazine.

  • @deb Yes, same thing happens. It also is the same if I try to add a photo here.

  • @deb I am trying from two different computers, same result. In Blogs, then My Blog, then Administrative, then edit, still only get the “Please enter image address, Http: Box” option, no browser opportunity. I also checked under Blogs, then Add Blog to see if an entirely new blog would do something different – still same result. I am now at a new…[Read more]

  • @deb Sorry for the Back and Forth. I tried what you described and I don’t get an opportunity to browse. On the “add picture” icon, the only thing that pops up is a small box that says, “Please enter image address” – then there is a highlighted http: with blank following.

  • @deb Thanks Deb. I love reading your Editor’s Letter in Traverse Magazine. Would you let me know how to upload photos from my computer into blogs for future submits?

  • @deb Hi Deb! I would love to tell you all the secrets of having good ice on the lake for our outdoor events, but I can’t because there aren’t any.
    We are just blessed with a great location. Our prevailing winds are out of the west and the bay is protected very well. It really is just a matter of location. Wish I could tell you more! Have a great…[Read more]

  • @deb Hey mom, the website is looking good.

  • @deb Thanks for the welcome. We’re glad we found a place to hang our hats and share a little bit of our life in Kaleva. Our profile picture is Chunks. She’s our internet representative.

    @deb Hi Deb,
    I notice my bonsai article was “featured”, but I must admit I don’t know what that means, at least on “My North”. Can you shed some light on this for me? Thanks a bunch, as always.

  • @deb Hello Deb,
    I appreciate your note. This is the first Blog I have ever participated in. I am a retired school teacher, and until yesterday wrote for the Antrim County News free lance. That paper announced its demise however. I do some work with the East Jordan C of C. They were advised by Traverse Magazine rep’s to have me send samples of my…[Read more]

  • @deb Deb, Thanks….Great site! I’m sure it’s taken a little bit of work. Keep it up!

  • @deb Forgot to mention our daughter, Jennifer, who is now 28. It is fun to watch them grow. I’m now Gramma to six and loving every minute. The fun part is when the boys start reminising and turn to your baffled face and say, “Oh, Mom, you didn’t know about that, did you?”

  • @deb Hi Deb,
    Have been following you and Traverse Magazine since your boys were very little. Having raised three boys myself (now 38, 40 & 42) and having been part of the area since my birth, I have always enjoyed the magazine and particularly your editorials. They are beautiful, touching and alway inspiring – thanks!
